    Volumes 6 8 in the great Marcus Didius Falco series.This series is the perfect combination of noir detectives and ancient Rome for me I always loved ancient Rome since I first read Asterix and detective stories I devoured the series and it was one of my inspirations when I started writing my own.I have left individual reviews for each of the three volumes Last Act in Palmyra Time to Depart A Dyi

    I quite liked these Falco PI stories, especially the theatrical troupe one But, by the end I think I ve had my fill of Roman gangsta tales Maybe there is something to be said for the single volume rather than a complete package.Toast
